An excellent review for Unspeakable Words!

For once, Google Alerts didn’t fail me! I woke this morning to find an excellent review by @jenre30 for Unspeakable Words. I can’t tell you how delighted I was to see this–just last week I decided to (temporarily) shelve my WIP and begin working on the sequel, entitled Walk a Mile.

This was just the encouragement I needed to get off my duff and settle into making this first draft work. I’m treating it a bit like nano, making a serious attempt to write a little every day. My day job has been tough lately, and that’s been slowing me down, but just diving into Jerry and Flynn’s world again makes me smile. πŸ™‚

  1. Yay for good reviews! Glad that at least Google Alerts is working well for you this time around. I hope Jerry and Flynn are treating you well! I’ll just be hanging out and chilling with Peter while you go write some FBI sexiness and sexytimes. πŸ˜‰

I hope your work at least eases out this coming week! Working too much causes a lot of stress. πŸ™

And, I still plan on hanging around in your chat tomorrow, but it’s snowing here and it has been predicted that we’ll be getting around 5-8 inches of snow here, as well as 50 mph winds in the evening. Hopefully Irene busted out all the weak trees two months ago, but we might still get a power outage. Hopefully we won’t, because I really want to be around tomorrow.

P.S. Is there a possibility that you might auction out Peter (and maybe Nick, if he’s willing) sometime soon? Hehe. *evil grin*

    • Especially the way work has been lately–very high stress–lots of emergencies!

Oh, my gosh! That kind of snow is unheard of around here in October! We’ve had a big drop in temps and some sleet yesterday; today it is sunny and cold. I hope you don’t lose power! (I have to admit, I could really use a snow day myself…)

Well, the blogging will be in the morning and the evening in between seeing my usual Sunday patients. I still only have a vague idea what I’ll be talking about… suggestions?

Hah! If I auction off Peter, you know you’d just get in a bidding war with Nick! That would make a lovely short, though… maybe that’s what I need to do, write fanfic of my own stuff! πŸ™‚

      • Hi Sarah, we already lost power here and I’m using my phone so I have to keep this short and sweet.

Maybe you could talk about where you get ideas for your characters? They’re your strongest suit and I’d love to read all about their creation.

Or you could just make it all about Peter. *grins*

        • Oh man, I’m sorry about the power–hope it comes back on soon, or you’re in for a chilly night!

Hmmm. Ideas for characters, eh? That’s a good one! I’ll have to give it some thought because I’m not really sure how they come about…

Or you could just make it all about Peter. *grins*

You’re cracking me up here! He wasn’t even on stage all that long–what is it about Peter that you find so appealing? πŸ™‚
